Liv steps in for helpless child | The Sun
Liv-id Tyler rants at elderly lady
Fury … Liv storms off but elderly lady still has plenty to say
By The Sun Tim Nixon | June 18th 2009
LIV TYLER threatened to call the police on a woman she confronted for shouting at a baby.
The Lord of the Rings beauty stopped in her tracks in Los Angeles yesterday when she heard an elderly lady ranting at the helpless nipper.
After an angry exchange and much finger-pointing, furious Liv threatened to get the LAPD involved – as the baby screamed in its pram.
Eventually, Liv – mum of four-year-old son Milo and a staunch child welfare campaigner – stormed off.
But the aged target of her attack – thought to be the tot’s grandmother or nanny – still had plenty to say, shouting abuse at Liv as the Hollywood beauty walked away.
Slanging match … Liv unleashes her wrath

Ya go, Liv!
As a mother of two little boys, I applaud you Liv for standing up and confronting this woman who obviously has no business being around children if she can’t control herself. We’ve all witnessed bad parenting in public in many forms and very few of us have the courage to say or do anything for fear of being told to “mind our own business”. You did a courageous and good thing. Keep that passion going!
