Even_Cere_GapK0007Liv hosted a launch party to celebrate the opening of Stella McCartney for GapKids pop-up store, yesterday in LA.

WWD.com has a few quotes from Liv:

“There are a pair of gray and yellow rain boots that I love, and I would do anything for that band jacket,” said Tyler. “Maybe I could convince Stella to make it for me, but she’s a busy girl.”

From Style.com:

“I’ve already picked up one of everything for my son,” said L.A. hostess Liv Tyler, sorting through racks of cashmere knits. “But now I want them for myself.”

From LA Times:

Tyler acknowledged that when it comes to picking children’s fashion, “it’s probably what the parents like best.” Her Stella McCartney for GapKids favorites? “The Sergeant Pepper jacket and the sweater with the tiger on it – it’s kind of a famous Stella piece,” she said. (It’s actually a leopard.)Instead, Tyler settled on a plaid shirt and skinny gray jeans for son Milo. “It’s great to have cool, chic kids clothes that are affordable,” said Tyler. “Especially with boys, they just destroy things.”

Tyler adds that she’s in L.A. to film a new superhero comedy called “Super” with Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page next week. And she admits not tuning in to “The Rachel Zoe Project,” where she had a guest appearance last season.

“I can’t watch myself on TV,” cooed the actress. “I watched a few episodes before I did mine and I got really upset because I didn’t understand Taylor [Jacobson] and Brad [Goreski]. They were so different from how I knew them. Taylor is really nice. Brad is so smart and lovely. I was really confused by how they were on the show.”
