In an online poll back in October we asked you, our readers, who you would most like to see on the cover of ELLE. Your answer? Liv Tyler.
And we weren’t surprised. The Incredible Hulk star is one of Hollywood’s most celebrated natural beauties. Born to rock’n’roll royalty (the love child of singer and Playboy Playmate Bebe Buell and Aerosmith’s leading man Steven Tyler), she started modelling aged 14, moved into acting with 2004 thriller Silent Fall, and has been on our girl crush list ever since she played Corey Mason in teen cult classic Empire Records. Here’s a sneak peek at what she has to say about fame, friends and fashion…

THE INTERVIEW

What’s the most ridiculous rumour you’ve read about yourself recently?
That Zach Braff and I were snuggling and staring romantically into each other’s eyes in a wine bar. That made me laugh out loud – it was the first time we’d met, and we were talking about a movie he’s directing.

Great night in?
Stella McCartney’s house in the country. Once our kids are asleep it’s ‘grab the wine’, and talk turns to boys and husbands, and who’s shagging who.

Most treasured possession in your wardrobe and guilty pleasure?
A Loro Piana camel hat that I bought in London. I wear it almost every day. Guilty pleasure? Knickers. I go pretty bonkers in Coco de Mer.
