G-Star wants to get bigger and better in the US, and what better way to do that than with Liv Tyler. The Dutch brand has enlisted the all-American beauty to be the face of its denim-centric campaign for Spring and Fall. “We believe that she has a level of sensuality and this is very important for how we want to position G-Star within the women’s context,” said global brand director, Shubhankar Ray.

G-Star also plans on opening stores — via franchising — in major cities all across the US with a goal of having 50 stores open by 2015. Liv emotes some rad vibes in the brand’s denim and leather. If I can look remotely similar, sign me up.

There are various reports out there this morning that Aerosmith has announced it’s auditioning singers to temporarily replace Steven Tyler, who checked into rehab in late December.

Tyler allegedly quit the group late last year and since then hasn’t made it clear to his band mates whether he is going rejoin the band. Guitarist Joe Perry told the Toronto Sun that Tyler entered rehab to overcome his addiction to painkillers and wants to rejoin the band.

Perry said Tyler must also undergo a number of surgeries and won’t be able to perform for a year, and the band wants to continue performing, with a temporary singer.

He said auditions will begin Feb. 10.
“We’re already getting the word out there. The word’s been out there for a while. After my Motley Crue tour, we’ll start having some auditions, making some phone calls. Hopefully, we’ll have found a new singer by the summer, and Aerosmith will be able to go back out on the road” Perry told torontosun.com.

It has emerged that actor Bruce Willis may have helped his Armageddon co-star Liv Tyler’s love life when he set her up with her new boyfriend Charlie Hunnam.

Tyler, 32, had stayed single after she split from her husband of five years, rocker Royston Langdon, in 2008, and it was reportedly Willis, 54, who helped her get her love life going again. “She was complaining to Bruce that she never meets nice guys. He introduced her to Charlie, and it just went from there,” the Daily Express quoted a source as telling U.S. tabloid Star.

And it appears the relationship is going very well between Tyler and 29-year-old Hunnam, who played the lead in 2002 Dickens adaptation Nicholas Nickleby. “I haven’t seen her this worked up about a guy since Royston,” the source added.

Last month, Tyler’s representatives dismissed reports the actress was dating “Scrubs” star Zach Braff.

The Strangers 2 will be produced by Ryan Kavanaugh from Relativity, Vertigo’s Roy Lee and Doug Davison, and Nathan Kahane from Mandate. Tucker Tooley from Relativity, Joe Drake from Mandate, Sonny Mahli from Vertigo and Trevor Macy and Marc Evans from Intrepid are all on-board to act as executive producers. Laurent Briet is tapped to direct from a script by Bryan Bertino, who wrote and directed the original.

Filming will begin this fall, and it reportedly takes place in a trailer park. Liv Tyler may be returning for the opening scene (and we all know what that means). The film is going to be a follow-up to the first film, which shows a couple being terrorized by three mysterious masked strangers at a remote cabin.

Liv Tyler has been single since splitting from her former husband Royston Langdon last year but the actress sparked rumours that she had found herself a new love as she was spotted with a mystery man.

The 31-year-old was all smiles as she stepped out with her son Milo and a male companion in New York’s West Village.

Earlier this year the Lord of the Rings star admitted that she was still struggling to cope with the split.

‘You through a couple of weeks where you think ‘Oh, I’m OK, I feel better,’ and then suddenly, out of nowhere, it hits you again.’

She said she was devastated when the former Spacehog singer finally moved out of their home after their split last year.

‘The hardest part is when they leave. It also brings up a lot of issues – you might feel like a failure, or like there is something wrong with you,’ she added.

William Gibson’s seminal 80s SF thriller has been green-lit more often than a black cab, and it’s anyone’s guess as to whether the latest attempt by Joseph Kahn will actually make it to the big screen. Hayden Christensen is attached as the lead. Peter Hoffman, who has a credit as ‘presenter’ in the not-so-successful 1995 adaptation of Gibson’s Johnny Mnemonic, is producing, with a budget currently reported at $70 million. Liv Tyler is also rumoured to be attached. Neuromancer deals with a disgraced hacker who has been physically disabled from interfacing with any computers in the future society he lives in. He’s rescued by a mysterious Samurai benefactor who temporarily cures his disability but implants him with Escape From New York-style ‘poison sacs’ before sending him on a new mission (Gibson has talked about how Neuromancer sprang off from some early lines in John Carpenter’s 1980 SF-thriller).
